Fargo Jet Center Completes Major Remodeling & Expansion |
Fargo-Moorhead's "First Impression" Gets Facelift
Fargo Jet Center (FJC) is putting its best facilities forward.
FJC,
the largest aviation service organization in the Upper Midwest, recently
completed a major remodeling and expansion project an upgrade that will enhance
both service and appeal.
"Since 1995, Fargo Jet Center has been the front door to
Fargo-Moorhead, the first impression of our community for many travelers,
and
it's been a great one," said FJC President Jim Sweeney. "Now it's even better
and more inviting for everyone, from charter flyers and aircraft operators to
flight students and maintenance customers."
The goal was to "supercharge" the FJC passenger terminal, said Sweeney, to make it more accommodating to guests, more user-friendly for team members, and the entire facility more efficient for everyone. The expansion added a two-story stone fireplace to the passenger terminal, a pilots suite with a high-definition television, a flight planning room, a quiet room to relax and refresh, and a conference room with first class amenities. It also increased the size and improved the placement of the customer service area.

FJC
is consistently ranked among the top FBOs in North America.
"It's great to be recognized for excellence that pervades our entire organization," said Sweeney. "The credit really goes to our team, who give every customer the white-glove treatment on a daily basis."
FJC also is a ChevronTexaco fuel dealer, award-winning aircraft maintenance and avionics repair station and aircraft dealer. In addition, FJC operates a fleet of charter aircraft, a flight school, provides aircraft management services and opportunities for fractional aircraft ownership.
History & Overview
Fargo
Jet Center's history extends back to the mid-1970s, when owner Patrick Sweeney
joined Weather Modification, Inc. (WMI), an atmospheric research and cloud
seeding company conducting business worldwide. To meet their expanded needs, WMI
established its sister company, Fargo Jet Center, Inc. which began serving the
regions aviation community in September 1995.
Since then, FJC has grown to become North Dakota's largest private aviation operation. It has more than 200,000 total square feet of office, hangar and technical workspace, and more than 100 team members between FJC and WMI.
