MONTHLY STATISTICS - July 2007

Airline passenger traffic in July at Hector International Airport showed a decrease as compared to the same month in 2006.  In July 2007, the passenger enplanements were 27,571.  This is a decrease of 8.7% when compared to the July 2006 passenger enplanements of 30,210.  Total passenger count for the month was 55,958, which is down 5.8% over the same period last year.

In July 2007, Northwest Airlines operated eight daily flights to Minneapolis with DC-9, CRJ200 and the new CRJ900 aircraft.  United Express operated four daily flights to Chicago and four daily flights to Denver with the Canadair CRJ200 and CRJ700.  Delta Connection operated two daily flight to Salt Lake City with the Canadair CRJ200 aircraft.  Allegiant Air operates two-weekly flights to Las Vegas utilizing the 150-seat McDonnell Douglas MD-83 aircraft.

Both United Express and Delta Connection reported record boardings for July.  United Express enplaned 10,314 passengers and Delta Connection enplaned 2,348 passengers.

Northwest Airlines had 49% of the market share, United Express at 37% Delta Connection at 9% and Allegiant Air at 5% with a daily average of 1,805 passengers both arriving and departing.
