Airline passenger traffic in November at Hector International Airport showed an increase as compared to the same month in 2006. In November 2007, the passenger enplanements were 25,080. This is an increase of 4.5% when compared to the November 2006 passenger enplanements of 24,000 and was the busiest November in Hector's history. Total passenger count for the month was 49,574, which is up 5.4% over the same period last year.
In November 2007, Northwest Airlines operated eight daily flights to Minneapolis with Airbus A319/320, DC-9, CRJ900 and CRJ200 aircraft. United Express operated four daily flights to Chicago and three daily flights to Denver with the Canadair CRJ200 and CRJ700. Delta Connection operated one daily flights to Salt Lake City with the Canadair CRJ200 aircraft. Allegiant Air operates three-weekly flights to Las Vegas utilizing the 150-seat McDonnell Douglas MD-83 aircraft and beginning November 15, two weekly flights to Phoenix/Mesa operated with the 130 seat MD-87.
Northwest Airlines had 60% of the market share, United Express at 29% Delta Connection at 3% and Allegiant Air at 8% with a daily average of 1,652 passengers both arriving and departing.
