Procedures to Obtain an Airport Access Card

The individual must have a legitimate reason to be granted access to the air operations area (AOA) ex: based aircraft owner, employee of business that operates on the AOA.

By March 1, 2007, the access card form must be completed along with all supplemental information (see below) and delivered in person to the Municipal Airport Authority office located on the 2nd floor of the passenger terminal building during normal business hours.  This information will be submitted to the Transportation Security Administration for review and you will be notified when your access card is activated. 

There is a $10 charge for issuing a new access card.  There is no charge for the annual renewal. 

Access cards expire every 12 months and they must be renewed by contacting the Municipal Airport Authority at (701) 241-1501 during normal business hours.

In addition to completing the form, you must also bring the following - original documents from List A or List B and List C.

List A - Documents that Establish Both Identity and Employment Eligibility

U.S. Passport (unexpired or expired)

Certificate of U.S. Citizenship (USCIS Form N-560 or N-561)

Certificate of Naturalization (USCIS Form N-550 or N-570)

Unexpired foreign passport, with I-551 stamp or attached Form l-94 indicating unexpired employment authorization

Permanent Resident Card or Alien Registration Receipt Card with photograph (USCIS Form l-151 or l-551)

Unexpired Temporary Resident Card  (USCIS Form l-688)

Unexpired Employment Authorization Card  (USCIS Form l-688A)

Unexpired Reentry Permit (USCIS Form l-327)

Unexpired Refugee Travel Document (USCIS Form l-571)

Driver’s license or ID card issued by a State or outlying possession of the United States provided it contains a photograph or information such as name, date of birth, gender, height, eye color, and address

School ID card with a photograph

Voter’s registration card

U.S. Military card or draft record
