The North Dakota Air National Guard Fire Department at Hector International Airport has recently taken delivery of a new state-of-the-art aircraft rescue vehicle.
There is seating for four crew members, with three seats having the self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) holding bracket mounted into the seat for quicker donning of the SCBA equipment. The truck is also equipped with a Winco 25KW PTO mounted generator, Will-Burt Night Scan Powerlite 15-ft. telescoping, a 3000 watt quartz light tower, and a Warn 12,000 lb. winch with 125 ft of 3/8 in. diameter cable. The truck is 10'-11.5" tall by 29'-6 3/8" long, with a Gross Weight Vehicle Rating of 31,000 lbs. and a rated speed of 55 mph. This truck will be equipped with all of our specialized rescue equipment for all of our needs, but doesn't carry any water for firefighting.
