Airborne Express Expands North Dakota Presence With New Facility

Airborne Express announced today the opening of a new facility to better serve Fargo, North Dakota and surrounding areas.

The new facility, located at 3847 31st N. employs 27 people and provides customers with a convenient package drop off and pickup location.

"This new station will provide Airborne with flexibility in our operational procedures," said Joel Bue, Airborne district sales manager. "This, in turn, will allow us to provide even better service to our customers."

The facility features 2700 square feet of office space and 14,010 square feet of warehouse space with three semi-truck loading dock positions, 26 interior van loading positions, and state-of-the-art mechanical handling and conveyor system equipment.

"There will be 21 additional vehicles on the road with the opening of this facility," said Phil Shaw, Airborne station service manager. "We have an excellent staff of hardworking drivers and personnel ready to help with any shipping need."
