Airline passenger traffic in August at Hector International Airport showed a decrease as compared to the same month in 2010. In August 2011, the passenger enplanements were 29,243. This is a decrease of -7.3% when compared to the August 2010 passenger enplanements of 31,534.

Total passenger count for the month was 59,894, which is down -6.7% over the same period last year.

There were 638 air carrier departures in the month of August with a daily average of 1,900 passengers both arriving and departing.
