Airline passenger traffic in August at Hector International Airport showed an increase as compared to the same month in 2011. In August 2012, the passenger enplanements were 30,378. This is an increase of 3.8% when compared to the August 2011 passenger enplanements of 29,243.

Total passenger count for the month was 61,142, which is up 3.8% over the same period last year.

There were 592 air carrier departures in the month of August with a daily average of 1,972 passengers both arriving and departing.
