Airline passenger traffic in December at Hector International Airport showed a decrease as compared to the same month in 2000. In December 2001, the passenger enplanements were 17,447. This is a decrease of -8.5% when compared to the December 2000 passenger enplanements of 19,063.

Total passenger count for the month was 35,273, which is down -7.1% over the same period last year.
