Airline passenger traffic in February at Hector International Airport showed an increase as compared to the same month in 2012. In February 2013, the passenger enplanements were 34,581. This is an increase of 6.2% when compared to the February 2012 passenger enplanements of 32,597.

American Eagle commenced daily non-stop service to Dallas/Ft. Worth on February 14.

This was the busiest February on record. The previous record was set in 2012.

February also had the highest load factor on record at Hector. Load factor is the number of seats filled vs. the number of seats provided. The load factor for the month was 88%.

Total passenger count for the month was 67,287, which is up 9.5% over the same period last year.

There were 558 air carrier departures in the month of February with a daily average of 2,403 passengers both arriving and departing.
