Airline passenger traffic in January at Hector International Airport showed an increase as compared to the same month in 2012. In January 2013, the passenger enplanements were 32,937. This is an increase of 11.2% when compared to the January 2012 passenger enplanements of 29,608.

This was the busiest January on record. The previous record was set in 2012.

Total passenger count for the month was 64,521, which is up 9.8% over the same period last year.

There were 612 air carrier departures in the month of January with a daily average of 2,081 passengers both arriving and departing.
