Airline passenger traffic in June at Hector International Airport showed an increase as compared to the same month in 2008. In June 2009, the passenger enplanements were 30,498. This is an increase of 5.2% when compared to the June 2008 passenger enplanements of 28,986.

Total passenger count for the month was 63,356, which is up 6.6% over the same period last year.

June 2009 was the record month for deplaned passengers and the second busiest month for enplaned and total passengers.
