Airline passenger traffic in May at Hector International Airport showed a decrease as compared to the same month in 2008. In May 2009, the passenger enplanements were 26,443. This is a decrease of 2.0% when compared to the May 2008 passenger enplanements of 27,252.

Total passenger count for the month was 53,147, which is down 2.2% over the same period last year.
