Airline passenger traffic in October at Hector International Airport showed an increase as compared to the same month in 2011. In October 2012, the passenger enplanements were 28,217. This is an increase of 3.7% when compared to the October 2011 passenger enplanements of 27,216.

Total passenger count for the month was 55,847, which is up 3.4% over the same period last year.
