Airline passenger traffic in September at Hector International Airport showed an increase as compared to the same month in 2011. In September 2012, the passenger enplanements were 26,038. This is an increase of 3.4% when compared to the September 2011 passenger enplanements of 25,186.

Total passenger count for the month was 51,472, which is up 2.9% over the same period last year.

There were 527 air carrier departures in the month of September with a daily average of 1,716 passengers both arriving and departing.
