RESTAURANT REMODELING - WESTSIDE TERMINAL

Sealed Proposals for Restaurant Remodeling Project, Westside Terminal Building, Municipal Airport Authority, Fargo, North Dakota will be received by Mr. Shawn Dobberstein, Executive Director, Municipal Airport Authority, until 2:00 P.M. local time, January 7, 2003.

Bids must be delivered before the time and date indicated above to Municipal Airport Authority Office, 2nd floor, Westside Terminal Building of Hector International Airport, Fargo, North Dakota, where they will be reviewed.

Separate Base Bids will be received for General, Mechanical & Electrical Work.

All Bids shall be in accordance with Bidding Documents prepared by Foss Associates, Architecture, Engineering & Interiors, 810 1st Ave North, Fargo, North Dakota 58102.

Bidding Documents may be examined at the following locations until Bid opening time:

  • Fargo Builders Exchange.
  • Minnesota Builders Exchanges in Minneapolis & St. Paul.
  • Construction Market Data Plan Room, Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
  • F. W. Dodge Plan Room, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Bidding Documents may be obtained from Architect by prime Bidders Only. No plan deposit is required for one set of Bidding Documents provided complete set is returned within 7 days of bid opening. Partial sets of Bidding Documents may be obtained from Architect only if specific sheet and section numbers are desired are included with request. Charges for partial sets will be $4.25 for each Drawing sheet and $0.45 for each Specification sheet. No refund will be made for partial sets of Bidding Documents. Completeness and adequacy of the list of documents requested shall be the responsibility of person making request. Addenda will not be submitted to those receiving partial sets of Bidding Documents.

No bids will be read or considered which do not fully comply with the North Dakota bond and license requirements. In compliance with Section 43-07-12 of the North Dakota Century Code, each contractor submitting a bid must have a copy of his North Dakota Contractor’s License or certificate of renewal thereof, Issued by the Secretary of State enclosed in the bid bond envelope. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a Bidder’s bond in a sum equal to five percent of the full amount of the Bid, executed by the Bidder as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in this state, conditioned that if the principal’s Bid be accepted and the contract awarded to him, he, within ten days after notice of award, will execute and effect a contract in accordance with the terms of his Bid and a contractor’s bond as required by law and regulations and determinations of the governing board.

Bid security shall be made payable to Municipal Airport Authority, Fargo, North Dakota.

Bid security of two lowest Bidders will be retained until Contract has been awarded and executed, but not longer than 30 days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to, waive informalities therein.
