ALL TIME ANNUAL PASSENGER RECORD SET IN 2013
– 2013 was the busiest year in the airport’s history.
– 2013 annual passenger enplanements, deplanements and total passengers broke the previous record set in 2012.
– 7,377 total air carrier departures in 2013 or 21 average daily.
– Hector has service from 5 airlines to 11 destinations – the most ever in its history.
Airline passenger traffic in December at Hector International Airport showed an increase as compared to the same month in 2012. In December 2013, the passenger enplanements were 36,334. This is an increase of 16.3% when compared to the December 2012 passenger enplanements of 31,281.
December 2013 had a 90% load factor for the month. This was the highest monthly load factor of any month in Hector’s history.
Total passenger count for the month was 71,009, which is up 16.8% over the same period last year.
Delta Air Lines initiated non-stop Saturday only service to Atlanta, GA in December 2013.
