Beginning Wednesday, March 1, Hector International Airport will have seven weekly non-stop flights to Las Vegas, Nevada. Allegiant Air announced two additional weekly flights that will operate on Wednesday and Saturday through April 15 in addition to their flights on Monday and Thursday that initiated in November.

Northwest Airlines started non-stop service to Las Vegas in October 2005 and currently flies three weekly flights to Las Vegas on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.

Northwest operates the 124-seat Airbus A319 on the Las Vegas flight and Allegiant operates the 150-seat McDonnell Douglas MD-83 on its flight.
